Below you will find how we handle refunds for eSIM data bundles purchased from eSIMfortravel.eu.
Digital service and statutory right of withdrawal
An eSIM is a digital service that is delivered immediately after purchase. Under Dutch and European consumer law, the statutory right of withdrawal expires once delivery and installation has started and you have expressly agreed to this in advance.
Our goodwill policy: 14-day full refund
Even though we are not legally required to refund digital services, we want you to be happy with your purchase. That is why we offer a goodwill policy:
- No data has been used from the bundle.
- Your request reaches us within 14 days of purchase.
It does not matter to us whether you have already installed or activated the eSIM on your device. As long as no data has been used, your bundle is eligible for a refund.
If you meet these conditions, we will refund the full purchase amount. We do not charge any fees for processing the refund.
How to request a refund
Send an email to hallo@esimopreis.nl with your order number and the reason for your request. We will confirm receipt and process your request within 2 business days at most. The refunded amount typically reaches your account within 5 business days, depending on your payment method.
When is an eSIM not eligible?
- Data has been used from the bundle, even a small amount.
- Your request reaches us more than 14 days after the purchase date.
- The eSIM has been used in violation of our terms and conditions, for example in case of fraudulent use.
Incompatible device
Please check before purchase whether your device supports eSIM. If you discover after purchase that your device is not compatible, contact us within 14 days at hallo@esimopreis.nl and we will look for a suitable solution together.
