How do I know if my Android phone has an eSIM?

Dial *#06# on your phone. If you see a 32-digit EID number, your phone has an eSIM. You can also check Settings > SIM manager for an option to add an eSIM.

Can I use an eSIM and a physical SIM at the same time?

Yes. On most devices you can keep your own number on the physical SIM and use an eSIM for data at the same time, which is ideal when travelling.

Does an eSIM work on any compatible phone?
